The aptly named Lollipop reflects the owner's love for Shirley Temple's classic “On the Good Ship Lollipop.” The song, featured in the 1934 musical comedy Bright Eyes , describes a journey to a fantasy land made of sweets. The yacht is also centered around confectionery.
"When I was young working as a skipper, I always said, 'If I ever have a big power boat, it’ll be The Good Ship Lollipop'," the owner said in a statement.
Vripack didn't create a fully themed interior, but rather a series of bespoke details that subtly nod to sweets. As such, the yacht is at once playful, pretty, and practical. Striking that balance was essential, as the owners plan to spend around eight months a year at sea with their two dogs.
